USA – 06 September 2018 – Transdev, together with Babcock Ranch, will begin this fall offering students rides to and from school aboard the EZ10 autonomous shuttle. The pilot program will run on select days during the pilot, with parents or caregivers allowed on board during all segments of the trips. A safety attendant will also remain onboard while students are riding.

The EZ10 will pick up and drop off students at the Babcock Neighborhood School (BNS) to test the viability of autonomous shuttle operations for students. Transdev is the mobility partner for Babcock Ranch and has been operating the autonomous shuttles for residents and visitors since January. The school shuttle service is part of an overall strategic plan to deliver autonomous technology designed around the needs of Babcock Ranch residents.
