IAA Frankfurt: Continental and EasyMile Partner to Demonstrate an EZ10

Today, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel has tested the CuBE (Continental Urban Mobility Experience) – EZ10 Driverless Shuttle at IAA Frankfurt.

The autonomous vehicle operated by Continental, EasyMile’s long-time partner, is being demonstrated at the 2019 International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany. In the presence of EasyMile’s CEO and Founder, Gilbert Gagnaire, Angela Merkel come on-board the EZ10 to test our technology and experience the mobility of the future.

 

The EZ10 will be on demonstration during the Tradeshow, between the Hall 9 and the IAA Test Drive, in partnership with Continental. The new EZ10 will also be on static display on the Ministry of Transport booth, with our partner Greentec, and on Continental booth.

The EZ10 Driverless Shuttle is actually operating in Germany, in Bad Birnbach, but also in Berlin at La Charité Hospital. More recently, also in the German Capital City, an EZ10 has been deployed in the Tegel Neighborhood, on a 1,2 km route, serving 4 stations since August and until the end of the year.
